Michael Jones Mensah
Michael is a strong, tenacious player on both the offensive and defensive end with a feathery touch and a relentless motor and will to win. His amazing athleticism earned him a reputation as a high flyer with a knack for show-stopping plays. Michael grew up in Tema, Ghana where he developed an interest in basketball during elementary school that continued through high school. He was a successful player in Ghana throughout school and in youth basketball clubs. His talents caught the interest of the AYBO during an AYBO-sponsored basketball camp in 2011 and he was soon recruited by Coach Kwaku Amoaku from San Diego Miramar College. He was accepted to San Diego Miramar College and arrived in January 2012 where he is busy attending classes and practicing with the basketball team to get ready for the 2012/2013 basketball season.
